Learn about shiitake mushroom log inoculation at a unique, hands-on workday!

The Mushroom Laying Yard is one of the favorite demonstrations at the Working Woods Learning Forest (for both visitors and staff!). Join the Working Woods Hub for an afternoon all about the process of inoculating logs with shiitake mushroom spawn - learn the how & why of shiitake log inoculation, work through each step of the inoculation process, enjoy some mushroom-themed refreshments, and at the end of the session, pick out one inoculated log to take home with you!
