Learn about shiitake mushroom log inoculation at a unique, hands-on workday!

The Mushroom Laying Yard is one of the favorite demonstrations at the Working Woods Learning Forest (for both visitors and staff!). Join the Working Woods Hub for a morning all about the process of inoculating logs with shiitake mushroom spawn - learn the how & why of shiitake log inoculation, work through each step of the inoculation process, enjoy some mushroom-themed refreshments, and at the end of the session, pick out one inoculated log to take home with you!
