The relationship between people and woods in our region spans thousands of years. Join Anna Carlson, Working Woods Outreach Coordinator, to explore how that relationship has changed over time and how past land use continues to shape the landscape today. Walk through old-growth and young-growth forest, examining signs on the landscape and considering how this history informs forest stewardship today.
Location: Working Woods Learning Forest at Holden Arboretum in Kirtland, Ohio (9805 Sperry Rd. Kirtland OH 44094)
