Experience the Holden Arboretum in a whole new light during Skeleton Stroll & Sunset, a small-group evening adventure combining art, seasonal atmosphere, and sunset views from the Kalberer Emergent Tower.

Your evening will begin with a walk-through Skeleton Grove, where select artists will be present, adding a creative element to the seasonal display. After exploring the grove, the group will continue to the Emergent Tower to enjoy sweeping views of the Arboretum landscape as the sun sets.

Please come prepared for an active outdoor experience. The program includes walking on outdoor paths, climbing the Emergent Tower, and returning to the Corning Visitor Center after sunset in twilight or low-light conditions. Comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing and sturdy footwear are strongly recommended.

Sunset conditions vary, and clear views of the sunset cannot be guaranteed. This program will take place in light rain but may be modified or canceled in the event of severe weather or unsafe conditions.

Due to the small-group format, capacity is limited and the group will depart promptly at the scheduled start time. Late arrivals may not be able to join the program.

Before You Register: Participants should be comfortable walking approximately 1.5 miles, climbing 202 steps, standing 120 feet above the ground, and returning to the Corning Visitor Center during twilight or low-light conditions. Flashlights with red lenses are recommended for the return walk to improve visibility while helping preserve night vision.
