The Working Woods Learning Forest is a 67-acre living laboratory and demonstration site highlighting the ecology, management, and value of our regional forests.
The relationship between people and forests in our region goes back thousands of years. Over time, the ways we care for and use woodland resources have changed dramatically. Join Holden Arboretum Consulting Forester Patrick O'Reilly to explore how we can be stewards of positive change in our forests today - managing invasive species, increasing biodiversity, and sustainably using natural resources.
After the walk, enjoy light refreshments and conversation with fellow participants and staff. Each tour includes informational handouts to take home.
